ReferenceVerify is operated by Medikalai Yazılım Anonim Şirketi ("we", "us", "our"). This Refund Policy explains when you may cancel, withdraw from, or receive a refund for a purchase of our subscription service, and how to request one. It applies to both consumers and business customers.
Scope.For customers outside Türkiye, payments and refunds are processed by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited). Refunds for these purchases are handled in line with this policy and with Paddle's Refund Policy, available at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy. For customers in Türkiye, payments are processed by iyzico and Medikalai Yazılım Anonim Şirketi is the seller; those purchases are also governed by our Turkish distance-sales terms and applicable Turkish consumer law.
Nothing in this policy limits or removes any mandatory rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country. Where your local law or this policy gives you stronger rights, the higher level of protection always applies.
1. General
ReferenceVerify is a digital subscription service that is made available to you immediately after purchase. Except where you have a statutory right described in Section 2, or where we grant a discretionary refund under Section 4, purchases are generally non-refundable. We do not apply any additional conditions, carve-outs or exceptions beyond those set out in this policy or required by law.
2. Statutory Withdrawal and Cancellation Rights
If you are a consumer, your country may give you the right to withdraw from your purchase and receive a full refund within a set period after the transaction. The most common periods are:
- 14 days — European Union, EEA, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Türkiye, Israel
- 7 days — South Korea, Brazil, China, Canada
- 5 days — Singapore
This right applies to one-off purchases and to the first payment of a subscription. If your subscription includes a free trial, a new withdrawal period begins when the trial ends. To exercise this right, submit a refund request within the applicable period (see Section 6). Where the law of your country provides a different or longer period, that period applies.
For digital content that you begin to access or use during the withdrawal period after expressly agreeing to immediate access, the statutory withdrawal right may no longer apply. You may still request a discretionary refund under Section 4.
3. Subscriptions and Renewals
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep access until then and are not charged again afterwards. Cancelling stops future renewals; on its own it does not refund a payment already made, except where a statutory or discretionary refund applies.
4. Discretionary Refunds
You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase. Each request is reviewed individually, taking into account factors such as the reason for the request and the extent of use. Submitting a request within this period does not guarantee a refund, and a refund may be granted in full or in part.
5. Technical Issues and Defects
If you experience a persistent technical problem or a material defect that prevents you from using the service as described, please contact us first at support@medikal.ai so that we can try to resolve it. If the issue cannot be resolved, a refund will be issued in accordance with applicable consumer-protection law.
6. How to Request a Refund
- International purchases (processed by Paddle):use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your purchase confirmation email, or visit paddle.netand choose "Request a refund".
- Purchases in Türkiye (processed by iyzico): contact us at support@medikal.ai.
Where eligible, approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible, normally within 14 days of approval.
7. Fraud and Abuse
Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.
